(1) PROJECT-BASED/FULL-TIME ARTS MANAGER​

​ABOUT THE COMPANY

  • The Arts Fission Company Ltd (ARTS FISSION), a non-profit with IPC status and a charitable organisation, is the longest established contemporary dance company in Singapore (since 1994).

  • Active in creating innovative dance works as well as a dynamic leader in designing arts outreach programmes to enrich and benefit different stakeholders in the communities, ARTS FISSION is supported by the National Arts Council under the major company grant scheme (2023-2026).

  • ARTS FISSION is currently looking for motivated and capable individuals who are interested to work in the arts industry and join the company in its continuous mission to make the arts as a way of life for all people.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Manage company’s major season performance productions (average 3-4 productions per financial year) and specific audience development/community outreach projects related to the productions

  • Candidate need not be trained in arts administration but with equivalent administrative and organisational capabilities.

  • Individual with experience or skills in marketing collateral design a plus but not mandatory.

  • Five and half-workday week at office located in Cairnhill/Orchard area.

  • Renumeration/salary from $2,500 and above pending on prior working experience and professional qualifications.

 

JOB SCOPE AND DELIVERABLES

  • Work with Company Artistic Director to realize performance projects including initial research and contact of relevant stakeholders or potential collaborators.

  • Work with General Manager to manage and monitor progress of project via project framework, timeline, budget, sponsorship solicitation, marketing plan, and required production logistics that included but not limited to: execute professional work agreements and contracts for artists and technical personnel; liaise with related authorities for permit/license, ticketing agent, and relevant sponsorship/grant applications.

  • Collate and file post-production report (closure report) with project analysis and figure data.

  • Assist in identifying technical expertise and production personnel; sourcing for performance venue and needed production material.

  • Assist and involve in marketing & publicity visual/collateral; audience development work includes contact target audience groups, extract social media analytics,

 

ATTRIBUTES

  • Competent in creative problem-solving and openness to learning.

  • Great team player and a people-person.

  • Efficient multi-tasker and meticulous in organisation and time management.

  • Fast learner who is committed to given work portfolio.

  • Speak and write good business English. Bilingual proficiency a plus

 

PREREQUISITE

  • Must be Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident

  • Formal Academic Degree, specialised Diploma or Certificate or equivalent professional working experience

  • Prior experience in administrative or office support role is an advantage

  • Strong proficiency in Ms Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and basic skills in Adobe Photoshop preferred)

(2) PART-TIME ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
